Pro*C/C++ is not a compiler. It is just a precompiler. The ProC code to access an oracle database is precompiler into native C code by ProC. This C code is then processed by your favorite C compiler.
I suggest that you keep the ProC code and the MQ API calls in separate files. This enables you code you program without any problem arising from the different development styles of Oracle and IBM.
