I just noticed that the IPPROCS on a lot (not all) of my flow input queues is 0 but the flows seem to be working normal. I thought SI always kept these queues open for Input waiting for messages????
I am running CSD5 on AIX for my brokers.
Can anyone explain how SI reads the messages and handles the IPPROCS?
The broker does indeed keep the input queues of a flow open for input.
If the IPPROCS is zero then this implies the flow does not have the queue open for input. If the queue isn't open for input then the flow cannot process any messages.
So either the flow isn't working, or your view of the IPPROCS of the queue is wrong or out of date.
