Hi,

we have a Sun box which gives the info:

dspmqcap ->

$ dspmqcap
The purchased processor allowance is 150
The number of processors in this machine is 20

what value do we have to set using setmqcap:
150 or 20 ?

If you type "setmqcap ?" it will tell you. My (Windows) machine tells me:

Usage: setmqcap Processors

So I would "setmqcap 20" in your case. Somebody has already done a "setmqcap 150" on your box.

This means you can take the other 130 license allowance and deploy elsewhere (assuming you have those licenses in reality).

I would check with your IBM rep incase its different on Sun though.
