Hi

I am getting an error of BIP1834E: Internal error within configuration Manager while accessing mesage repository. Open failed for message set: MRM return code -1.
It says inconsistency while accessing the message respository.

I didn't change anything in the message set. Previously it was working fine. Now when iam trying to deploy it, iam geting this error.

What could be done. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I am new to WMQI.

I am having same problem. Can you please tell me how to remove/delete the message set?

The moment I click on the message set node, I am getting the error. So, I am not able to select the menu option "Remove"/ "Delete"

Any hints will be great.

Right Click on the broker Check Out right click on the message Set you want to delete.you will see a alert box saying yopur message set will be removed from the broker not really delete it.say yes.And again right click on the broker say check in and again right click on the broker say deploy--->delta configuration

Thanks. Is there a way to clean up/reconfigure the Config Mgr without losing all message sets. I have problem with only two of the message sets. Rest of them are working fine.

Is there any scripts or supportpacs from IBM for cleaning up Config Mgr?

I Don't think there are any support pacs for recovering configmgr.

Did u tried stopping and restarting your configmgr by closing all your control centers connected to this configmgr.

do you have backups of your message repository(database table) or do you exported your messageset and keep it with you any time before.

I was loading the message set using bulkload utility (ID06).

If the ConfigMgr is down while using Bulk Load Utility, this problem arises.

Once we load the data then Config Mgr needs to be re-started. These steps should be in the same sequence. Otherwise the repository goes out of sync and unable to checkin/work with repository.

In my case, I had old message sets exported. So, I had recreate the ConfigMgr
