Dear All,
We have a problem on using MQWF 3.4 with sp5 on aix 5.2.
In this case, we sometimes encounter deadlock....which should be quite normal for workflow. However, we found that when there is deadlock, the other workflow api seems to be also introduce other errors in the server log, i.e., FMC31060E The retry limit for message SDDS has exceeded. The message cannot be processed and is ignored.
This will happen until i shutdown and start the execution server again. This seems the execution server runs abornally after a deadlock problem.
Does anyone has any idea ?
Regards,
Keith |

You shouldn't have many dead lock or timeout messages. A few here and there is normal but any more than that can be an indication that you need to do some DB maintenance.
Try doing a runstats rebind this will normaly clear up any deadlock issues.
Are you using DB2 or ORCALE? _________________ Dave Krier
