Hi, I'm trying to upgrade my MQ5.0 to Websphere v5.3 on Windows NT. I get through all the prerequisites and it starts installing - about 3/4 of the way it says "Installation inturreupted - please start again".... I didn't touch anything.

I see this in one of the logs:

09:55:35 Invoking: 'D:\MQ5_3\MQLaunch.exe'
09:55:35 Current dir: 'D:\MQ5_3'
09:55:35 Parameters: '(null)'
09:56:26 MQLaunch.exe ended; exit code 229 (0x000000e5)
09:56:26 Ending with RC 229 (0x000000e5)

Does this mean anything to anybody?

I'm installing it on a remote machine, I've copied the CD (licenced) to a directory MQ5_3 on the D drive. I've checked the file sizes and am pretty sure nothing is corrupt
Thanks

I know its contrary to what you said above, but I can find a couple of reported cases of this problem, and it was always caused by a failed copy of the files...
