Hello,
Iam getting this following error when i run this command
#dmpmqlog -f $HOME/mqlog.log -m QM01
AMQ7701: DMPMQLOG command is starting.
AMQ7005: The queue manager is running.
AMQ7716: DMPMQLOG command has finished unsuccessfully.
Can anybody help in this regard..

Before using dmpmqlog, stop the queuemanager.

Hello yaar,
Thanks for your answer. According to me,
If the MQ fails in middle, or to see the status, we want to stop the queue manager and use this dmpmqlog command to check if there are any errors...
Please correct me if iam wrong...

If MQ Fails in middle its written to Error Logs not the recovery logs.
if you want to see recovery logs using dmpmqlog,its mandatory to shutdown your QM. |
