Hi Indian ,
Congrats ... even i am planning to go for the certification exam next week . I would be really interested in knowing how it was ? The nature of the test and the difficulty level as compared to the sample test and the one at topcat site.

I had taken the exam yesterday and passed. But, one thing I found out was IBM's liking for OS/390. I got 4-5 questions which are specific to OS/390 and couple on AS/400. Also, make sure that you atleast have a knowledge of all the options for all network protocols. I got some questions on NetBios options. Also, there are couple of questions which are VERY (I mean very long) with the Q definitions spanning couple of pages. So, keep these towards the end. Also, make sure you know well about Queue Sharing Groups (there were 3 questions) and REFRESH SECURITY feature.

Good Luck.

For 095 exam you need to follow all the books mensitioned above in this post.
Planning,QueueManager Clusgter,MQSeries System Administration, and one more important one is Intercommunication.the exam questions belong to different Operating Systems like OS/390,AS/400,AIX,HP-UX,SunSolories, and NT.More questions on EXITS(channel exit, security exits),MQSC commands....etc.Just you can follow the model question papers mensitioned above.

Hello MQ Gurus.
I am in the process of getting myself certified in Test 095. I have registered for the exam for July 1st week.
The reason, why I am sending you this message is to know the important topics I could refer for Test 095. From the prior posts, I figured out that they I will have to concentrate more on Planning, Qmgr Cluster, Administration and Intercommunicaton. Can you provide some more details about this.
Also can you please let me know the pass percentage for this exam. I haven't quite able to figure out how much is the pass percentage. Also, are there any negative marks attached to the exam.

Please let me know..

Thanks
