Hello All,
I tried to deploy a Bar file
Initially it says : The Configuration Manager has processed the deploy request and initiated the deploy of configuration data to the following brokers. Active brokers: WBRK_BROKER . Deleted brokers: .
But I didn't get any response. I don't see any responses in the event log.
The time out period is 10 mts. I don't see any response in the event log even after that.
please help

Do you have channels configured between your ConfigMgr queue manager and your broker queue manager?
Are the channels started and do messages flow?

In this case I have one Queue manager for both broker and the config manager.
and in the channels I see only the SYSTEM.BRK.CONFIG running, rest are all inactive, and also Iam unable to start the inactive ones.
pls suggest.

If you've got a shared queue manager, the channels don't matter.

I have my broker started.
Iam connected to the config mgr.
but still I don't get a response for the deploy operation.
I tried to stop the Broker with mqsistop -i WBRK_BROKER
it says
BIP8071I: Successful command completion.
but immediately again when I try to start the broker with
mqsistart WBRK_BROKER
BIP8018E: Component running.
This component is running, the command issued cannot be run against a running component.
Stop the component and reissue the command.
I don't know if something else is wrong.

Check the Windows Event Viewer, it often contains useful messages generated by the broker. |
