Hi ,

I am able to run runmqsc QM ,on a QM.But it is not responding if i run any MQSC commands like DIS QL(*) CURDEPTH etc. The QM is on AIX. Any clues.

Possible reasons.

-Your system is too busy to grant cpu cycles to runmqsc.
-You have tons of queues defined. Bear in mind when you use wildcards, mq has to do that additional work of gathering all the queues and on top of that you are asking for an additioanal attribute.
-Check to see if any FFSTs are being generated. If they are then MQ would be busy doing that, than responding to your mqsc request.
-Verify if you are at the latest level of MQ and that a similar problem is corrected in later versions/ptfs/csds.

Just a few pointers.
