I am trying to install the XSLT node but I am getting the following error:

Cannot find MQSI initial settings. MQSI must be configured prior to installation of
the IBM XML Transformation Node. Please cancel the installation and retry once
MQSI has been configured and the Control Center has been started.

My control center is open and so I am not sure what to do next?

I am using MQSI 2.1 CSD6.

When do you get this error? Right after double clicking the installation exe? Do you have a Java Virtual Machine installed?

I made it through the JVM check, it automatically selected the control center for me, then upon the pressing finish button wizard to begin the install that error occured.

Hmm, I am not sure then. When you installed the control center, did you use the default directory?

Your install directory for 2.1 says Websphere Business Integration Message Brokers? Does csd6 change the name of the directory, or did you change it yourself? I am running csd4 still, and the default directory I installed too was C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ Integrator 2.1.

Actually I have both the one you have and the one I listed above. We had a previous install of WBIM but uninstalled it. It obviously didn't remove the directory structure.

I wonder if that is confusing things. Try deleting the directory structure and try again. I am running the installation exe on my machine, and it doesnt appear to give you the option of changing it. Is the installation program showing the correct directory to install too(ie, the 2.1 directory)? It could very well be trying to install it into the WBIMB directory.

Actually the first directory I gave is where it is installed. I removed the other directory. The control center opens without issue but the install still fails.

Well, I'm at a loss then. Maybe as a last resort, uninstall and reinstall the Control Center?
