Hi All,

I'm running Candle agents(ver120) for both MQSeries(ver5.3) and WMQI Broker (ver2.1) on Sun Solaris(ver5..

We are experiencing response problems. After running the agents, especially WMQI Broker agent, the deploys to the broker start timing out and the logs read as follows:
"1040421151825000KQIA107W (kqiamfdf.009) Broker BROKER_NAME not responding to report request; data type = 9500. "

We had to restart the broker in order to be able to deploy to it again. What might be the cause of this timeout?

The second question, even though we managed to sort it out, relates to the permissions.

We are running MQSeries as user 'mqm' and WMQI as user 'mqadmin'. We then started the Candle agents as user 'mqm', but we couldn't capture the starts on the web browser.



Both users belong to the same groups, i.e. mqm and mqbrkrs. Question is, why will the agent complain about the permissions while both users have the same rights on the server?

The problem was resolved by using mqadmin to start the Candle services.

I have a similar problem but my QI agents runs as the service MQSI user.
