I have started an process instance using the XML message. I have also specified that Response is Required.
WF correctly replied to the ReplyQ specified, with the response message after it has started the process instance.

What i wanted is, WF to reply back with the result of the process execution, i.e, value of the output container after the process execution.

In this way it would be useful, that we can inititate a process in WF and obtain the result of execution of the instance.

I also guess that we can have a UPES activity defined for the ReplyQ at the end of process, and make WF write the process result in the ReplyQ. Is this the only way to do?

I believe what you want to do is issue A ProcessTemplateExecute instead of a ProcessTemplateCreateAndStart.

The problem with this is I think you might time out if the instance takes more then the timeout limit (3 mins by default).

Let us know how this works.
