hi guys,

i appreciate if someone can post major differences between mqsi 2.0 and wmqi 2.1 or atleast direct me to some documents that i can read for the same. and also is it possible to migrate mqsi 2.0 to wbimb 5.0 as i have read somewhere that wbimb supports migration only from wmqi 2.1. your suggestions would be of a great help for a newbie like me.

thanks,
pvemuri

There is no direct migration path from MQSI 2.0.x to WBIMB 5.0 You will have to do a 2 stage migration, i.e. from MQSI 2.0.x to WMQI 2.1 and then 2.1 to 5.0.

yes phani, like kiran said, u cannot directly migrate from 2.0 to 5.0, instead u can get an instance of 2.1 from IBm and migrate in 2 stages from 2.0 to 2.1 and then to 5.0.
IBM does allow to have the 2.1 version instance, if u r doing this kinda migration (based on the EULA).
