Right now we have mq workflow 3.4 on AIX 5.1 32 BIT .The AIX support team is planning to make it 64 bit .
will workflow 3.4 run on aix 5.1 64 bit .Does anybody has a system where this is running successfully .Hoping for an answer . |

What i thought was if anybody in our group had already installed it on 64 bit then it would confirm that it would work fine .

I have just run into this problem at a customer site in Detroit. Basically the set-up here was the same, AIX 5L2, DB2 8.1 64 bit, MQ 5.3
I did the install but ran into problems with the db2 libraries. The work around to to make sure the dba's create a 32bit db instance and to insure that MQWF 3.4 points to the 32bit library files.
Now the response from the lab was that MQWF is only supported in a 32bit kernel mode. So the installation could work but will not be supported.
The PMR # is 54328, 422
