What exactly is an MQSeries client product ??
Is it the system on which MQClient component is installed ??
if a Qmanager created on a MQServer can be accessed
from a system having no MQComponent installed in what cases
would the MQClient installation be required ???
Regards,
Vandana

MQClient component is required when you do not want to install a full qmgr on your machine AND you are not writing your program in Java. So, for example, if you wanted to connect you Visual Basic application running on an NT workstation through to a full qmgr, you would need to install the MQ Client on your NT machine - this would actually equate to using mqic32.dll.
Hope this helps. |
