Hi,
I have MQ5.3 and I want to setup a Trigger Monitor service using MQServices.

I have tested my trigger by starting it from command prompt as-
runmqtrm -m abc -q defq
This is working correctly.

I want to start a Java service on trigger event.

For this I have also set CLASSPATH system environment pointing to my java class directory.
But, it seems trigger is not working.

Does any one has tried this, please let me know ASAP.
Thanks,
Plad

You probably haven't set up your classpath properly for the user that is running the Trigger Monitor service.

I would strongly suggest that you trigger a batch file (Windows) or shell script (Unix) rather than directly triggering the java program.

In the batch file or shell script, set the appropriate environment variables (i.e. CLASSPATH) and then execute your java program.

Roger, I agree with this so much that it is actually in the FAQ entry I referenced (and wrote...)
