I see a lot of people asking questions about MQSeries here, and although some very good brief answers are made here, it would probably benefit quite a few of you to subscribe to "MQ Update". This is a monthly technical journal (with no adverts) aimed at MQSeries technicians - each issue contains in-depth articles about aspects of MQ (and/or MQSI) often with sample source code included.

I don't work for Xephon, although I review and edit material for submission to the journal. When I look back through the back issues, I have to say the quality of material is excellent and I would recommend to anyone working with MQSeries to take out a subscription and also to get a least a year's worth of the back issues (get your employer to pay naturally).

Many of the articles are written by IBM'ers but also many by technicians working with the products. If you want to submit something (and get paid for it) then please contact me.
