Hi
I have 2 QMGR A and B. A is mainframe with EBCDIC, B is UNIX.
As I understand it conversion of messages from EBCDIC to ASCII happens automatically based on the default CCSID definition in the receiving QMGR.
The CCSID parameter is in the form of CCSID(1051) while I want to know what standard tis represents. Where can I find a mapping of the parameter value and standards?

Think of Google as your friend:

I also found this quote, which referred to MQ:

Locales using the default roman8 code set (CCSID=1051) are supported, but there may be very limited support for this code set on other platforms, which means that sending data to them using these locales is not possible.
And, there's an appendix in the Application Programmers Reference dedicated to CCSID Conversion.
