have somebody information how can I configure WBIMB that the error mesages go on the syslog on Solaris ?

Here's how we direct systems messages relating to WMQIMB to a separate syslog file.

Put the following line in the syslog configuration file (the default file is /etc/syslog.conf):

user.info /var/adm/wmqisyslog

Create the file by issuing the following command:

touch /var/adm/wmqisyslog

The syslogd daemon needs to re-read the configuration file to activate the command. Therefore, make the syslogd rescan its configuration file by issuing the following command:

kill -HUP )cat /etc/syslog.pid)
