I have a wrapper for MQAX200.DLL that goes like this:

objPutMsg.MessageData = sInMessage

where sInMessage is a string.

Now I am trying to do the same thing in .net and I noticed that there are several write methods

I want to know what is its corresponding write method in .net. Also how do I read a message?

I tried WriteUTF/ReadUTF and it seems to cut the first 2 chars of my string.

utf format (java) is a 2 byte length followed by the utf8 encoded string.

Try writeString, but bear in mind it will go in in unicode unless you change the codepage!
