Exactly what version of IBM Agent Controller do I need in order to use Flow Debugging remotely on a CSD02 broker running on Linux/Intel?
The readme for IBMRAC5.0.2 says that this is not a supported configuration with IBMRAC5.0.2. But it also didn't seem to be a supported configuration with the IBMRAC5.0.x that was installed with CSD02.
And where can I download the appropriate version? All I can find is IBMRAC 5.0.2. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Donno if this helps....
I used RAC from supplement CD provided with WBIMB 5.0 version CD by IBM. i applied CSD 02 and it worked fine for me. I installed IBMRAC 5.0.2 recently and started having problems. i uninstalled and reinstalled RAC again from supplement CD. it works fine. |

That's what I was working with, and it wasn't showing me anything to attach to (despite having execution groups and flows running).
So I tried 5.0.2 and it does the same thing.
Is your broker running on Linux x386? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Hi Jeff the CSD3 readme states ....
Quote: |
The flow debugger provided in Fix Pack 3 can debug runtime brokers from either Fix Pack 2 or Fix Pack 3.
You can select the version of the broker that you want to debug by checking the corresponding option in the Flow Debug preference page with the default set to Message Broker CSD3 and beyond.
The following matrix shows what is supported on the different platforms: CSD3 Broker + RAC 5.0.2 CSD2 Broker + RAC 5.0.2 CSD2 Broker + RAC 5.0.1
Windows Yes Yes Yes
AIX Yes Yes Yes
Solaris Yes Yes No
HP-UX Yes No No
z/OS Yes No No
Linux Yes (with IFix) No No
Contact your IBM Support Center if you want to use the flow debugger with a CSD3 broker on Linux. |
See...
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/integration/mqfamily/support/readme/all50_read.html#flowdebug
So I think you need to contact IBM to get this IFix mentioned in the readme.[/quote] |

Hi Jeff -
The snippet I already included from the CSD03 readme also indicates that the debugger won't work on a CSD02 broker on Linux, Z/OS and HP-UX.

Argh.
I missed the version of RAC in that last column. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
