hi
i have a complex problem ..... several mq client applications residing in various locations of the world send messages to my server. my goal is to
differentiate between those messages on basis of sender application(probably IP Address or an ID) AND location(could be assumed as name of Organization).
my MQ Server is running on solaris. is there any method in JMS which would help me in achieving this functionality???

Since the clients connect directly to your queue manager, you can't use some of the more obvious identifiers like ReplyToQMgr....

That leaves only the

PutApplicationName
Userid
can't think of anymore

The only solution I can think of is to have each client identify itself in the message with a custom JMS Property.
