Okay...after reading the past few pages of posts I'm feeling left off the bandwagon.
Sitting in my left hand desk for the past 6 months or so is a pack of CD's label WBIMB V5, collecting dust.
Yeah I've read some documentation, white papers etc...but I would like the opinion of someone who's "bin' there done that" with traditional MQSI (v2.1 or earlier) and is now using in a serious capacity V5.
What would you say is the biggest improvement for your organization by going to WBIMB? (development environment, source management, performance ...)
What would you say is the biggest challenge? (migration,...)
Is there any thing that you regret about moving from v2.1?
If you haven't guessed already I'm in the process of preparing a "dog and pony show" paper for (gun-shy) management detailing the benefits of migrating to the new version...and I really don't want to give them the IBM Glossy. I'd rather draw from the expertise on this message board.
