Hi All
Can anybody tellme some rules of rules table. I can think of four or five rules only. If somebody can give me a sample of rules table then it will be really helpful.
Thanks

If you mean rules for the dead letter queue handler, check out Chapter 12 of the System Admin manual. It has all sorts of details and a sample file as well. |

That's because the manual can't read your mind., It doesn't know what your specific requirements are. You have to design the rules *you* want yourself, depending on your application/business rules.

I'd be glad to help.
Please tell exactly what things you need the Dead Letter Handler to do, and I will tell you how to write the rules to do them.
If you can't tell us what you need to handle, we can't help. We don't know your applications, we don't know your business requirements, we don't know what counts as a "problem" for your enviroment and what doesn't.
You've got to try to figure this stuff out yourself, or pay someone to come and help you in person - so they can figure it out.
What needs to happen AT YOUR SITE when a message appears on the Dead Letter queue? Does it need to be resubmitted back to the source queue? Does some sort of alert or notice need to be sent out? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
