Hi, beginning unix man to unix masters,

- before installing mqseries on a sun solaris box we want to find out what are exactly the unix patches already installed on the sun OS to be able to check the prerequisites

- is there a special command to do that?

I think what you want is

showrev -p

Beware however that the output is a fairly ugly list of patches.
I think you need to grep for the patches that you care about.
