I know, i'm a tad behind the times.. but I was asked to create a cluster in an HP UX v5.1 (CSD07) environment. Should I even bother? or should i recommend that an upgrade be done before the cluster is created.
Am I correct in stating that clustering has become much more stable with 5.3?

| Clustering has definitely become more stable with WMQ 5.3. I'd strongly recommend the upgrade without even attempting to use MQ 5.1. |

Thanks, that's the recommendation i will make. My original purpose was to implement a 'failover' solution, but in reading hte posts - clustering alone will not accomplish this.
