I would like to change the MAXDEPTH for a bunch of queues for multiple queue managers on an AIX box. (Running MQ 5.3.0.4.)

Is there some kind of a script or utility that can help me do this?

I want to change it from MAXDEPTH(640000) to MAXDEPTH(30000)

Thanks.

Just look at the makeq.pl script in the repository and modify it to alter the queue rather than create it, setting the maxdepth to the desired value.
You can extend it to issue a dis qlocal(*) and iterate over the results and alter each one automatically.

The MO71 support pack allows you to CTRL SHFT while selecting queues in the GUI view. For example, you can select 100 queues at once, and change all of them to have the same one queue attribute you change. Works great and saves LOTS of time whenever I need to change a lot of queues or channels the same way.
