Hi,

- we have installed server & client mqseries on the same box
- when installing last CSD for the server we wonder if we also have to install last CSD for the client on this box or if the CSD applied to server is enought for server AND client?

What platform?

If windows, when you say you have the client and server on the same box, do you mean you ticked the install option for the client while installing the server (otherwise I think the MACV/client install wont install on a machine with MQ Server already installed). Assuming this is the case, the fixpack updates both at the same time

- the platform is sun solaris
- the client was installed from the same mqseries server cdrom
