Hi folks.

These may be a fairly obvious questions but...... I have just started to self-teach myself VB.NET and I have a few questions about the MQ angle on things.

Does anyone know....

a) where to starting looking for the MQ related classes?
b) which is the best manual to look for coding examples?
c) if MSMQ comes as a standard interface with VB.NET?

I have MQ 5.3 CSD 5 on Windoze2K and .Net framework 1.1 with .Net Developer 7.1.3088

Thanks in advance
Kevin

Kevin, I just went through this myself. Go to the Manuals Home Page, there is a .NET manual there.

There are samples included on your PC with CSD05 (Get yourself to CSD06. CSD05 is to buggy for .NET).

If you have done any JAVA coding, you'll do just fine. I even figured it out somehow .

Thanks Peter.

I shall take a look at your suggestions. I am from a traditional MVS System programming background so all this object orientated stuff is totally alien to me....but it does look pretty useful stuff.
