Hi all,
we have 2 machines in the cluster environment (concretely AIX 5.2 with HACMP, but I think it is not relevant). In this environment is on the shared disk installed a application using WSMQ Client 5.3.
The question is how to install and integrate the WSMQ Client into the cluster environment - takeover scripts.
What is in fact the MQ Client - an API or an application?
If it is an API, then no cluster integration would be necessary, only simple installation on local disk both nodes. But what if it is a application?
Thank you very much for help |

The "client" itself is a set of libraries and dlls and etc.
The thing you need to look at is "What am I failing over"? That is, what critical business function are you using the hardware cluster failover to preserve?
I think if you look at it that way, you'll find that it's your application, not the MQ client itself. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
