MQ manuals can be found here:

Have a look at the Windows quick beginnings manuals and the Using Java manual.

And since you mentioned 5.2, this is no longer in support. If you are new and just starting, start with WMQ 5.3. This is currently supported and the java/jms is shipped with the WMQ as opposed to being separate.
