I have created a plugin that I have compiled and linked succesfully on WIN2K using the GNU Compiler etc.
So,I moved it to SOLARIS (2.9) and installed the GNU Toolkit there and built the .lil file ok.
I moved the .lil file to the lil directory, set the ownership and mode, restarted the broker and tried to deploy my test flow. WMQI 2.1 (CSD05) does not recognise the lil file and refuses recognise the .lil file and thus reports it not to be there.
One possible problem might have been that one of the dependant libraries might be missing. So, I verified that it was not the case by doing an LDD on the plugin .lil file. This produced no broken links to any of the dependant libraries. So, I am mystified as to why the broker did not recognise the new .lil file.
So, I am wondering if anyone else has done this task or have they used the SUN Compiler/tookit which SUN do not seem to want to sell me.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
