Hello there,
Do you have any idea How I can dump security configuration on OS400 ?
I work with DMPMQAUT on UNIX boxes but it seems that there is no support pack for the same functions on OS400...
Thanx |

A quick search on dmpmqaut in the Security manual gives you the OS/400 alternatives:
The CL command DSPMQMAUT displays the current authorities that user or
group has for a specified object. The CL commands WRKMQMAUT and
WRKMQMAUTD are also available to work with the current authorities associated with objects and generic profiles.
I suggest if you do not have the documentaion installed that it is well worth doing!
Cheers,
Vicky |

A lot of people, including me, who regularly post here disagree with this.
In fact, I think it is always quicker to start with the manuals. They have Indexes and Tables of Contents for a reason.
And the MQSeries Information Center is very very searchable. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
