Wonder , instead of migrating message set & message flows from one configuration manager to another .( typical way of migration) ... cant we have broker switch between configuration managers ????

Also two brokers can share a same configuration manager rite , later on , if one of the broker has to connect to different configuration manger , just the deletion & insertion of logical broker entry in ControlCenter & config mgr would do .. or you have to physically delete the broker and recreate and reconfigure to connect to other config mgr ???

In order to change what configuration manager a broker is registered to, you have to

delete the broker from the config mgr
drop the broker
recreate the broker
register the broker with the new configmgr

This can be done without changing what objects are deployed to the broker. But not without interrupting service on the broker.

This is pretty clearly documented.

wouldn't you have to redeploy to the broker - wouldn't the uuids be wrong or would you have imported the configuration database? I may be completely off base here.

redeploy action is part of the registration process with the new config mgr.
