I have a name "Inventory" Cluster include windows and AS/400 2 cluster member ?
After both sides setup the Cluster Sender channel & Cluster Receiver channel , send & get
message using the queue in the cluster from both side worked normal.
But when I click the Clusters the system give me some message as "need configure server connection on remote machine" ?
How do I configure the AS/400 accepted remote admoinistration ?
Current config:
Windows
MQ manager : WIN2K
sender connectionname AS400(1414)
receiver connectionname WIN2K(1415)
AS/400
MQ Manager : AS400
Sender connectionname WIN2K(1415)
receiver connectionname AS400(1414)
After start channel & listener on both side, both side channels are in status "Running".
I also check the AS/400 using WRKMQMCL CLUSQMGR(AS400) MQMNAME(AS400),
then select option 5 to Display MQM Cluster Queue Manager, the screen showed the channel status is "INACTIVE". But both side channels are in status "Running"
How do I setup the AS/400 for Windows MMC to do remote administration ?

You need a SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN channel on the AS/400 for the Windows Explorer to connect to.
You also need the Command Server running.
Cheers,

I created the SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN and STRMQMCSVR for the QM.
When I connect the CLUSTER from Windows MMC, I got the message "AMQ4036 Access not authorized. You are not authorized to perform this operation.". Then I put the MCAUSER "MQM" on the SVRCONN channel. But still got the message.
What am I missing ? |

Isn't the UserId on AS/400 "QMQM"?
Also, if you are using MQ v5.2, did you issue the "Refresh Security" command. If it is not v5.2 then you need to recycle the queue manager.
later
