Hi,

Is there a way to check the number of clients that are connected without having to actually manually count up the number you can see connected over the channel?

i.e. is there any command I can run from runmqsc that will return a value giving the number of clients currently connected?

You could check the number of open input counts against each queue and get the total of them.. it still isn't pretty, but it would work.
