I have recently seen local tempDynamic queues appearing on our Tandem system all begining with the following "com.ibm.mq.pcf.pcfmessageagent". Does anyone know what these are and what is creating them? I suspect is may be one of the system monitoring tools like prognosis but I am unsure and no-one here can confirm or deny my suspicions.
Any help or thoughts greatly received,
Conor. |

That sounds like part of MS0B. So, if any of the tools you are using were built with this Support Pac, then yes, it's possible. Although code I use that's built on that Support Pac generates queues beginning AMQ.

Hi obriencm:
99 % sure that is the qmqm module for Prognosis to obtain data about MQ Objects.
A question, please, the performance of the QMgr it's altered for creating/deleting a lot of Dynamic Queues??.
Thx |

Hi Luis,
Sorry to say this problem is being experienced on out Dev/E2E Tandem so it does not have a suffieiently high load that performance is effected.
