Hi all,

Our Configuration Manager was moved from a Machine1 to Machine2.
The Configuration Details (the processor speed, RAM, etc) of Machine2 are twice that of Machine1.

Inspite of this, there is no significant improvement in its performance.
Moreover we are forced to restart the Config Manager everytime it goes down.

Can you please tell me why the Config Manager goes down so frequently and what are the performance Parameters it depends on?
Also let me know if the restarting of the Config Manager is the only solution whenever it goes down?

For your Information, We are 15-20 people working on that machine at any point of time.

can you provide platform details and which version of mq and mqsi and databases along with ths CSD info.how frequently is your config mgr in coming down and when exacly it is coming down i mean what operations are you guys performing on the config mgr machine.did u check into the system log for any errors.can u post any errors here.
