We are running
MQSI 2.1 & Neon R & F 5.6 on AIX 4.3.3,MQSeries 5.2 & Db2 7.2
When we first reported this problem IBM asked us to implement the loopback for databases. The problem seemed to go away and then
it recurred again today.
This is the excerpt from the trace log -
2003-04-10 08:52:12.002450 2828 RecoverableException "NN406E: Incorrect or missing NNSY database information An error has occurred while accessing the NNSY message repository database. The Broker has failed to load the NEONMSG plugin because the NNSY formatsdatabase has not been correctly configured. Details of the NNSY error arerecorded in the NNSYMessageLog.nml file which is normally located in the MQSIbin directory. Complete the NNSY configuration and restart the Broker."
Once the broker was restarted everthing was OK.
Did anyone else experience anything of this sort and any suggestion to fix this ? _________________ Thanks

In our same environment NEON was not started before we installed CSD04.
Regarding DB2 7.2 - there some problem with generation DB query in SP3, which fixed in SP4.
Our comfiguration wirkin fine:
MQSI 2.1 & Neon R & F 5.6 + CSD04 on AIX 4.3.3,MQSeries 5.2 & Db2 7.1 (or 7.1 + SP4). _________________ Best regards.

Yakov,
Everthing works fine except that once in a while MQSI drops the connection to the NEON database.
When we approached IBM they asked us to implement loopback for databases.
It seems there is a limit to the number of connections which MQSI
can have to a Db2 database and the loopback helps circumvent that.
They figured this might have been what was causing it.
Here is a link about this fix-
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&q=%2loopback+node%22&uid=swg21009742&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&cc=us&lang=en
After all the above steps we still had the problem recur today.
Bye

That's a dead link to IBM in the previous post...anyone know how to solve the NN406E (and subsequent) errors? I'm seeing
BIP2232E: Error detected whilst handling a previous error in node...
BIP2230E: Error detected whilst processing a message in node...
NN406E: Incorrect or missing NNSY database information...
...some repeats and then...
BIP2493E: Error evaluating expression...
BIP2430E: Illegal operands 'NULL' and 'NULL' for concatenation operator
Also getting BIP5010E (XML Writing errors) and NIP5005E (no valid body of document could be found).
I'm using WMQI 2.1.0.5 on AIX 4.3. Thanks for any help/tips. |
