Our backedn system is going to send fixed lengths tring and we have created CWF MRM for this as wel..

In dev env we do not have access to teh backend and have to simulate this data.

We also have sample test data for this. In which format should it be sent.

eg: OutputRoot.Blob.Blob or some other way..

OutputRoot.BLOB.BLOB will send the input message as it is towards the output terminal.if you want to validate and construct output message you may need define TDS or CWF format depending on your requirement. If you are constructing XML.There is no need of defining this in MRM.

You are right. The message from the backend will arrive as a BLOB. Then you'll need a "Reset Content Descriptor" node to assign it to the MRM message.
