This must be a bug!?
Using WBI MB 5.0, Windows 2000, IBM Thinkpad.
A message flow is stopped
A message is put on the input queue (of the flow)
A new deploy is made (of this flow)
The message is executed by the flow !!!???!
New messages stops at the queue
Refresh of the flow shows that is it still stopped
??????

Build id: 20031009_1516
Realized that this topic had been discussed earlier in this forum, but with no real conclusion whether is was a bug or not.
Let's see what they say at IBM.

Yes Kirani, we are running this version in Production.
And:
IBM came back to me with the answer that this is known problem with APAR IC36977 - problem description: 'STOPPED MSGFLOW SHOULD STAY STOPPED AFTER A DEPLOY'
They also state that:
At this time no solution has been identified to this problem and
therefore there is no interim fix available and no target fix pack
Good to know though.
Guess that one should make queues "Get Inhibited" before deploying flows that read them.

It'll be a nightmare for people with large number of message flows
