Hi All,
We have installed and configured MQ workflow 3.4 sp4 on solaris 8 with oracle 9i as 3 tier RTDB. we can start the workflow server and use the fmcibie utilityto import/export the fdls into RTDB. But when we try to connect to the workflow system either through webclient or thick client, we get a time out error.
The fmcerr.log file says something like this. Could some one let us know what might be the problem.
WebSphere MQ Workflow 3.4 Error Report

How do you know your workflow server is started. I bet your server is down.
You can do an import even though your workflow server is down. All you need is DB manager to be up to import something into workflow runtime.
On the workflow server machine do
Code: |
ps -ef | grep fmcamain |
See if you can see anything.
If you see a process try logging into workflow using the admin utility fmcautil |

Hi Vennela,
The admin server has indeed started and I was able to use fmcautil. The problem is now fixed though. The oracle script file fmczsid.sql which is supposed to create the database tables did not create a few tables which are necessary if it finds that the table space is not enough for those tables. But the script comes up saying that all the tables were created .
Our Oracle DBA had to go through each one of the tables and make sure that they are indeed created properly.
Thanks a lot
