We have run into a problem and I am looking to see if anyone else has and if so how they resolved!
We are an iSeries shop running OS 5.2 MQ 5.2 with MA88 and are upgrading to 5.3 with integrated Java.
We have discovered (painfully i might add) that our Java programs will no longer function because we do not have a required (but undocumented) piece of software. Cryptographic Access Provider 128-bit for iSeries (5722-AC3) Is a Software Prerequisite. The OS group and Java group moved functions out of Java and into it's own package 5722AC3. Part of what was moved was a .jar file the MQ needs. We are using Java 1.4 with the current ptf's
The error we get in out programs is .......... java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/net/ssl/SSLServerSocketFactory
Has anyone see this and gotten around it without having to install 5722AC3? If you are using 5722AC3 have you seen any negative repercussions?
Thank you in advance for your comments and help
