Hi
It is small suggestion to all
1.Currently for preparing mq certification examination, We don't have much references for testing our knowledge before attending the exam.
But if u take any other certification exams (like.. SUN,Mircosoft, products) We have plenty of chance for refreshing the knowledge using sample test codes.
2.If u ask any clarifications about mq sample test questions,Everybody showing the link IBM examples and TOPCAT2 static Page questions.
Any one (Certified) Person can prepare the all( Min level) questions related with each Certification and upload the question bank file to our mq repository.
It will helpful to all beginners (including me).
Cheers

There are sample tests for the MQ certifications. You can take them to get a feel for what you need to study. As far as seeking answers for questions (or building a repository), putting certification exam questions/answers has been discussed here before and is a violation of the agreement you sign when you take the test. |

Have you looked on top of the page ?? There is a search button.
I would guess it works and if the right search arguments are specified, it will return something usefull. (I tried and it took 10 secs to get to the right link).
Besides that can only agree with Michael. Any systems administrator should be able to find some "easy" info on their own.
Just my $0.02
PS: Maybee there should be a Certify room..... _________________ Regards, Jørgen

You are asking for us to take time to show you something that is very easy for you to find yourself.
Also, you are asking for answers to both sample tests and actual certification tests. Providing this information would break the legal contract that everyone who takes either the sample or actual certification test agrees to. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Hi to all
"you are asking for answers to both sample tests and actual certification tests"
Is it true ?? Pls check my previous postings...
I never asked actual questions and answers.
My requirement is
I asked some sample info other than that IBM & TOPCAT2 samples test questions link.I think u guys are pointing again IBM Samples...
I don't understand for publishing some sample question,Why our legal contract will break??
For example take SUN certification... So many sites are providing the sample tests with answers.
Regards

Certification link
I know all of the above people could have posted the above link. The only reason I am doing this is because he shouldn't have a feeling that the people here are not as co operative.
I will not do it if the same user does the same thing again.

Since we are quoting and referring to each others posts...

Raj,
The whole point of getting certified in something is that you KNOW what to do and have EXPERIENCE in an area you work in.
So if you have the required KNOWLEDGE (not answers to questions) and the required EXPERIENCE, certification should be a "walk in the park"...
I personally never bothered to certify for anything, but then again no one ever asked me the question either

Well, I can see both sides of this argument.
At the risk of sounding egotistical, I was able to go and take the specialist certification and pass without ever having taken a sample test, or having a great site like this to get pointers from. However, that was the result of working on MQSeries nonstop for a year and I also had the luxury of learning the ropes from a coworker who was an MQ guru. But not everyone has that luxury, plus a lot of companies won't even give you a chance unless you already have the certification, so there is a bit of a chicken and egg problem going on. _________________ Brandon Duncan

Brandon,
I see both sides aswell! and yes, there are a lot of snags in MQ that are hard to find in the documentation,
unless someone points you in the right direction. There IS a catch 22 situation for newbies, BUT
the magic word in your post is working!
Too many people out here right now wanting free lunches
I read almost each post (don't know the answer to each post) and decide to answer based on my experience here the last year or so
whether someone genuinly doesn't know where to look or is looking for an easy shortcut...
