Iam using MQSeries 5.3 client java api to connect to a remote MQ server. I have the following things set on the remote server:Server Channel, Queue Manager, and a Queue. I have also set a UserID to authenticate accessing the Qmanager.
However my client finally throws me an exception which states
"MQJE011: Socket connection attempt refused
MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2059"
How do I proceed on this further

| Magesh are u sure ur Q Manager is running properly. Can you give a brief when u r getting this error while connecting to Q Manager itself...??? |

| You didn't mention that you have a listener. It needs to be running on the queue manager machine. It would also be handy to see the actual code where you set these things up and try to connect to the queue manager. |

| Check that you supplied correct queuemanager name in your code ,if yes check whether its up and running on the specified port |
