I get the following error when i run cfgmqbrk in mq 5.3 /win2000

IC35731 - Publish/Subscribe SupportPac, MA0C: utility, cfgmqbrk fails with an access violation and dialog box stating The instructions at "0x77fcb397" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written"

Apparently this problem has been solved in fix pack CSD05. i have installed the laytest fix pack6 (CSD06). But i still get this problem.
1)Any solutions? Arent the fix packs incremental?

2)I had previously installed (CSD04) and then installed (CSD06) without removing CSD04.would that cause a problem?

I ran mqver and it gives me the following output
C:\>mqver -f127
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 530
Version: 530.6 CSD06
CMVC level: p530-06-L040211
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)
CSD Number: 6
CSD String: CSD06

Yes, this apar is incorrectly flagged as being in a fixpack. Since the 'fix' needs to be made to the supportpack download, there is no way it could go in a fixpack. I think this slipped through the net in that respect.

Contact service and ask for the fix for IC35731, there is one which works from GA2 (fp1) upwards, as I think the support pack (if it hasnt been updated) only works for the original ga code. You can ask them to update the words while they are at it!

To answer your questions, fixpacks are cumulative so you only ever need apply the most recent, and backing off a fixpack or skipping a level, or applying another fixpack on top of a previous one would not have caused a problem and should work fine.
