May be through the Outsourcing to Indian companies and brining in techies from India

Or

Moving the Jobs to India. In India, to my surprise, there is huge requirement for MQ both as admin and app dev. It's mind boggling to me.

I hope all the offshore developers are buying licenses for their software.

There seem to be a lot of people who say things like "I just have installed MQSI on my PC, now what?". Now pay for it perhaps?

Happened at my previous contract. Current employer moving whole project teams to India.
After short burst of activity last November, job market is dead, dead, dead.

Kalyan:

I am not sure if what you are saying is right. You need an employment visa to work in India (if you are not an Indian ofcourse).

Quote:

Employment Visa

Multiple Entry employment visa is granted on a case to case basis to foreign nationals wishing to take up an employment in India. Normally the following papers are required to be filed with the application for employment visa:

a letter of secondment from overseas company and employment letter from the Indian company
expected duration of the employment.

Maybe there are some exemptions for people belonging to NEPAL, Sri Lanka (or some of the SAARC countries) but for others they definitely require an employment visa.

I don't get that Can you please explain what skills are not around in plenty in India?

don't get that either What do you mean by good and quick buck?
As in you are paid well to replicate your knowledge to others in say 3 months?

Seems like the world upside down to me, so please explain... ( I may know a lot about MQ, but don't know much about India.)

In my opinion this topic belongs in the "general Discussion" area where anybody and everybody can rant and make some comments as "Kalyan" is making. Please move all these postings on this thread to the general area

Yes, you are right.
The Job Postings forum is for current MQ-related openings.
So I have moved this thread to General Discussion.
