Hi,
WBIMB5 + CSD3
I have installed support pac ia0x (FTPD node) on my broker successfully.
However, they have given an XML file named, InputNodeTestFlow.xml to test this node. The line in the user-guide says:
Quote:

Installation verification
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A test message flow InputNodeTestFlow.xml is provided. Import this flow and deploy.
You can then test the FTP commands that are described in the following chapter.

Is it possible to create a Message Flow from XML? If yes, how to do this?

Message flows exported from the toolkit to the file system are stored in XML format, i.e. InputNodeTestFlow.xml

It's just an XML file, so as long as you conform to the configuration requirements set forth by WBIMB, I guess, technically, it's possible, but what would be the benefit(s)?

Vivek,

This plug-in node supportpac comes with the files for WMQI 2.1 version. If you want to use this node with WBIMB 5.0 then you need to first migrate this plug-in node to WBIMB 5.0. Inputnodetestflow.xml is WMQI 2.1 exported message flow.

Kiran,
The website says that the support pac is already migrated to WBIMB. I have installed it on my WBIMB5+CSD3, and have tested it using my own test message flow. It works quite perfectly.
What I really wanted to know is,
As Message Flow can be exported to XML file, Can it be imported back to WBIMB from XML file??

Hi Kiran,
I don't know from which version of WMQI is this Inputnodetestflow.xml exported. But this XML is present in the ia0X.zip file of support pack.
If you try to install the support pack on WBIMB5+CSD5, and want to test the FTPD node, the support pack gives you this Inputnodetestflow.xml and says that you have to create a test message flow from this XML...
Have you actually tried to install this support pack on WBIMB5??

Again, my answer is same. Use mqsimigratemsgflows command to migrate Inputnodetestflow.xml message flow to WBIMB 5.0
