Hi all,

do we have to recompile the java applis when migate from mqseries 5.2 to mqseries 5.3 on Unix and windows platforms?

we wonder about that because the java libs coming from MA88 are now replaced by the java libs integrated in the mqseries 5.3 product

Kakoz,

You shouldn't have to recomplie your apps.

We have upgrade from 5.2 - 5.3 on Windows
<No Java apps had to be recomplied>

Also upgraded from 2.1 to 5.3 on MVS
<No cobol apps had to be recomplied>

Even when a CSD is applied, I've notice the java lib changes to reflect updates fixes.
